The public PowerShell repo is the toolkit I am willing to share. Clone it, read it, then run it on a box you can afford to break first.

PowerShell is still the fastest way I know to make a Windows box tell the truth. The scripts I am willing to share live in the public repo, not buried in a zip on a file share.

Clone it, list what is there, and read a script before you execute it. That is the whole workflow.

```powershell filename="clone-toolkit.ps1"
git clone https://github.com/Technolitero/Powershell-Public.git
Set-Location .\Powershell-Public
Get-ChildItem -Recurse -Filter *.ps1 |
  Select-Object FullName, Length, LastWriteTime |
  Format-Table -AutoSize
```

If a script touches production, run it against a lab first. I treat these the same way I treat Unifi Analyzer: useful, written for my problems, and public so someone else can steal the parts that fit.

The [downloads page](https://www.technolitero.com/downloads/powershell-public) has the zip if you would rather not use git. Either way, the source of truth is GitHub.
